Pride is so ugly

Pride is the ugliest of all sins.  It creeps in and starts to infect us like a bacteria infects the body.  It starts to swell to areas of our lives and can spread to our hearts if untreated.  As C.S. Lewis shares in his book Mere Christianity, Pride is a spiritual issue.  Many of the sins we battle are carnal, animalistic and a result of a heart that is sick.  Pride is often the father of all sins that we deal with as men.  Satan is the father of Pride and uses it to lure us to think that we don't need God and that we are powerful and gods of our own universe.
